The block B of a RDS group allows to transmit data in any group type trans mitted . These data corredpond to Program type PT (b5->b9) and TP flag (b10) indicating the possible presence of a Traffic information.

The bits b5 to b9 indicate the type of program of the radio according to the following figure:

Traffic Program (TP) :

The TP (Traffic Possible) flag indicate if program can carried Traffic information according to the following figure :

This program does not carry traffic, on the other hand if TA is set, traffic announcements can be broadcast on other program via EON
1
This program carries traffic announcements. If TA flag is set, a traffic announcement is being broadcast on this program at present.

Remark : This flag indicates only the possibility to transmit this type of data, when road data are transmitted the flag TA is set to indicate traffic announcement is being broadcast on this program at present.
